I don't give cahoots about Bolse one way or another. The checkpoint system wasn't very well integrated for the most part in Assault. YOU HAVE TO START THE WHOLE LEVEL ALL OVER AGAIN. If you happen to die at any point in the Aparoid Homeworld? Like let's say there is only one Aparoid Hatcher left to take out? There was also a problem with the checkpoint system for this level. However it would not exactly pinpoint where the Apraoid Hatchers were located at and it wouldn't be able to differentiate, the upper and lower level decks you explored in this level (which at least a few levels in Assault did properly with) which make looking at the map a complete waste of time. You can click start and it would load a map of the entire level. We all know the real job Krystal has here in this game.Īnother hampering problem with the Apraoid Homeworld is how useless the map was in this level. Fox McCloud is the only one held responsible for getting the job done. Your mission that you are forced to accept here is that you have to make waste to the four Aparoid Hatchers crawling around the area. This level is just way too big and way too wide in scope to find any enjoyment with. It always takes me at least 20 minutes to complete this level and that is on the easiest difficulty setting. The Aparoid Homeworld is essentially a confusing, discombobulated, labyrinth that is not even the least bit fun and a level that drags on longer than it should. The Aparoid Homeworld is a terrible level. I only included them in these rankings just to please the hardcore Star Fox junkies out there. ![]() Most of the missions from Assault will perform rather poorly in these rankings. Let me say this right now before I continue. I can't think of one positive thing or saving grace here about Aquas and I have nothing else to say here other than did you guys know that there is a city out there called Sandwich, Massachusetts? Mind blown.Īquas rightfully gets last place. Most Star Fox fans believe Aquas has little to no virtue to the Star Fox franchise and I hope you all tend to agree with me here. However unlike a fairy tale? There's nothing good about Aquas. I HATE FALCO AS MUCH AS I HATE SLIPPY!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone actually like Aquas?įalco, Slippy and Peppy have no ingenuity to the Star Fox team. Instead of helping you out? The three of your teammates bicker while you are the only one left steering the Blue Marine through this terrible level. Slippy seems to exemplify and take the time in her day to somehow find underwater sculptures beautiful. It's beautiful!"įalco - "This thing will never hold together." We have exploding starfish that deal the most punishment and can dwindle the health of your Blue Marine in half if you are not careful on impact. Sure you can fire unlimited torpedoes but what's so problematic about this is that you can't see jack and that the torpedoes are the only sources of light you have in this level. ![]() The real problem with this level is with the gameplay itself. ![]() What is Peppy, Falco and Slippy's task here in this level? ![]() People generally find sea life to be innocuous but that's not the case here with Aquas.Īs usual? Fox is the only one and who's life is put in jeopardy in this level as you are the only one responsible for taking out the Bio-Weapon at the end of this horrid level. The visibility of this level is near single digit territory. The Blue Marine itself moves at a sluggish pace. The torpedoes you fire from the Blue Marine are monotonic and barely functional. Words cannot describe how much I hate Aquas. Oh like there was anything else worthy of getting last place.
